Children and Youth
Our Christian Ministry Team is dedicated to help our youth grow closer to God through learning about the Bible and sharing
our faith. We are always looking for new ways to keep our programs fresh, fun, and fitting for each age group. We provide nursery care which offers loving and safe care for infants and small children under 5 during the worship service. All children and youth programs are open to the community.
KIDZWORSHIP (PreK-4th Grade)
Starts September 26, 2010
KidzWorship meets on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am (children will attend worship with their families at 10:00 am and will go to KidzWorship in Seward Hall with their teachers after the Children's Message. Parents/caregivers may pick up their children after the worship service.)
KidzWorship is held from September-April for grades PreK-4th. KidzWorship takes place during our worship service. KidzWorship is a mini-worship service led by a rotating team of teachers. There are projects and a Bible Story of the Week with the goal of leading our children to their own relationship with Jesus Christ at a level that is age appropriate. During the session year, we have special events such as Advent Workshop in December and Lent Workshop in March that are popular with kids and their families.
PRETEENS FOR CHRIST (5th Grade-Confirmation Ready)

Know, Grow, Serve; PRETEEN STYLE!
Preteens are a special group of individuals. They have outgrown the Old Testament stories and crafts of traditional Sunday school, but are not quite ready for adult church services. Preteens for Christ is not Sunday school, but rather a club where preteens can develop a group relationship in Christ. Preteens for Christ is geared to lead preteens to develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ. They will learn how to live a Christian lifestyle in the face of today’s challenging world and how to act out their faith through community service and short mission trips. All of this will be done in a FUN and stimulating environment. Primary group time is held during adult worship service at 10:15 am September-April.
