BACK BAY MISSION

Back Bay Mission is a mission of the United Church of Christ located in Biloxi, Mississippi.   In 2008 & 2009, missionaries from First Congregational traveled to Back Bay Mission.  During these mission trips, our volunteers worked to help fix up homes that are still in disrepair from Hurricane Katrina (August 2005).  www.thebackbaymission.org

First Congregational's next mission trip to Back Bay Mission will be October 31-November 6, 2010.  If you are interested in going, please contact the church office.

ECUADOR MISSION TRIPS

Our missionaries traveled with  e3 Partners to share the Gospel and to help the local pastors start new house churches in Ecuador in 2009 and 2010.

THE PEANUT PROJECT

Since 1954, the Peanut Project has met on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7:30 am. By
10:30 am, fresh peanuts have been shelled, blanched, fried, salted, bagged, and delivered to the local Sentry Grocery Store.
These bags of delicious and fresh peanuts sell for only $3 a piece, and the laughter and friendship of those who help out is
priceless.

To volunteer, just show up! We will be happy to see you. No experience required; on-the-job training available.
